Role Description
The Investment Guideline Management (IGM) is part of the Client & Investment Monitoring function within the CAO division of DWS.

Your key responsibilities
- Team Lead of Investment Guideline Management (IGM) India team
- Responsibility for implementation and post-trade monitoring of regulatory and contractual investment guidelines as stipulated in the underlying contracts
- Supporting IGM teams globally while aligning regional processes and implement a follow-the-sun model.
- Ensure further growth of the IGM India team while ensuring 100% delivery of respective KPI’s
- Manage performance systemically by considering delivery, behaviour, and conduct, as well es qualitative and quantitative priorities.
- Foster connectivity to all internal / external stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
- Graduate in Finance
- 8+ years of relevant working experience in the finance industry
- Strong knowledge of the asset management industry and a basic understanding of financial instruments (i.e. bonds, equities, derivatives) as well as an appreciation of financial markets and alternative assets classes (i.e. real estate, private equity, infrastructure) as well as respective regulatory background
- Experience within Investment Compliance and respective IT-applications (e.g. BlackRockSolution Aladdin or similar) within the asset management industry
- Experience of managing a team in a Global organisation
- CFA, CIIA, CEFA desired but not obligatory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Sharepoint in particular
- Ability to provide thought leadership and create an environment which promotes innovation
- Diligent work approach with respect for our risk and control obligations
- Ability to create an inclusive, open and speak up culture where team members are encouraged to express views and raise concerns
- The ability to communicate, influence and operate at a senior management level, including presenting complex ideas simply to facilitate effective decision-making
- Fluency in English is a must, German a plus
