We have an exciting opportunity to join our global tax team based in Gurgaon, India. This is a new opening for the tax professional to support the international markets, primarily US, for tax accounting, compliance & reporting at American Express.


Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of US International (5471) and State compliance returns.
  • Partner with US tax compliance team on the preparation of related US tax forms, FTC workings and quarterly forecast workings.
  • Preparing of numerous support schedules filed with tax return.
  • Demonstrate experience in process improvement and automation including but not limited to: innovating through new and existing technologies
  • Must have the ability to coordinate and work with cross-function teams
  • Leading various projects and initiatives for Compliance.

Education:


  • Graduate / Postgraduate/ MBA in Finance
  • CA preferred

Experience:


·2-4 years of experience working on Tax


·Big 4 experience a plus


·Driven to learn and develop new skills


·Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and MS Access


·Able to excel and influence in a cross-functional team structure


·Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment


·Dynamic, willing to take on new initiatives.
