Team Lead/Staff Engineer - Software

Job Description:

• Responsible for end-to-end software development for a cross functional team in Bangalore
• Act as a reporting manger for a cross functional team
• Act as a project delivery lead
• Play the role of scrum master
• Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders to manage all the phases of SDLC.
• Create environment that builds Employee Engagement and fosters Employee Growth and Development
• Set individual and team goals in Alignment with Organizational goal and monitor progress through regular performance feedback sessions with their Organizations
• Ensures engineering solutions meet requirements for cost, time, and quality.
• Acts as escalation point to resolve issues within the team and to help coordinate resolution of issues with external parties
• Works with the organization to provide the tools and resources to enable team members to be successful in execution
• Drives collaboration across individuals, teams, and groups.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience in playing the role of manager for a team – Setting up Goals, Performance Assessment, Providing Feedback, Hiring and Growing the team
• Experience working in C#, API, JavaScript and web development.
• Project management experience and complete knowledge of SDLC Lifecyle.

• Experience in Scrum and demonstrated Scrum master role.
• Development Experience with web and API driven application development (Microsoft technologies)
• Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts.
• Ability to clearly articulate business goals and strategies, facilitate teams in solving problems and making decisions, and effective engagement with peer organizations.
• A role model in effective Communication, Collaboration, Networking, Candor, Emotional Resilience, Negotiation, working within a team environment and cross functionally
• Ability to relate to others, demonstrated resourcefulness and flexibility, active participation in decision making process, ability to assess risk and act with a sense of urgency.
• Self-directed and able to direct others.

Required Education and/or Experience:

• BE/BTech/M Tech/MCA/MSc /BCA / BSc - CS
• 9 to 11 Years of experience
