Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
Lead a team of QA engineers, providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support. Plan, prioritize, and manage team tasks to ensure project deadlines are met. Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the QA team. Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and skills assessments.
Automation and Framework Development
Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Katalon Studio and other relevant tools. Integrate automated test scripts into CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and testing processes. Identify and implement strategies to improve test coverage, efficiency, and maintainability.
Quality Assurance Process Management
Define and implement QA strategies, standards, and best practices across projects. Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Execute and manage both manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, performance, and security testing. Analyze and report test results, including defect tracking and root cause analysis.
Agile Methodologies and Tools
Actively participate in Agile and Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Work closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to align testing strategies with sprint goals. Utilize JIRA for tracking, reporting, and managing test cases, bugs, and sprint tasks.
Collaboration and Communication
Act as the primary point of contact for QA activities, providing clear communication on testing progress, risks, and issues. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of testing goals with project objectives. Advocate for quality standards during project reviews and meetings
Knowledge, Experience & Skills :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7- 8 years of hands-on experience in QA automation and managing large-scale projects.
Strong proficiency in Katalon Studio for test automation.
Knowledge of other QA tools and frameworks like Katalon, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience in testing web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.
Experience in API testing
Experience in version control systems such as GIT
Experience with testing serverless architectures and microservices.
Strong Exploratory and Ad-hoc testing skills;
Experience with Performance Testing using tools such as Jmeter;
Have knowledge about AWS fundamentals.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
