As a Team Lead - Oracle Development, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:


  • Manage a small team of software engineers by providing advice, coaching, mentoring, and assisting to resolve complex technical or design issues.
  • Developing software solutions by understanding information needs of the Medical Solutions Division business.
  • Advocating and enhancing the Agile software development lifecycle.
  • Determining operational feasibility of solution designs by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments, and clear code.
  • Determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.
  • Studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment, and by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
  • Accomplishes engineering and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Job Requirements


  • Develop and optimize database structures, store procedures, dynamic management views, DDL triggers and user define functions.
  • Develop complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions for the application, according to business requirements in UNIX and windows environments.
  • Modify, maintain and develop PL/SQL codes for new customer requirements which involve cursors, functions, procedures triggers and collections.
  • Perform data modeling and create/maintain and modify complex database triggers and data migration scripts.
  • Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
  • Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
  • Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
  • Hands on development using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Performance tune SQL's, application programs and instances. 
  • Evaluation of new and upcoming technologies.
  • Providing technical assistance, problem resolution and troubleshooting support.

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, Business or related field (completed and verified prior to start).
  • 7+ years experience as  applications developer in private, public, government, or military environments –(large and small projects).
  • 7+ years experience with PL/SQL development
  • 5+ years of experience with oracle functions, procedures, triggers, packages & performance tuning
  • Experience in subversion tools, SVN version management to manage various versions of the procedures and functions of the application
  • Proficient in Microsoft Project, MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Understand all aspects of software development lifecycle.
  • Understand various SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall etc).
