Team Lead (Logistics Control Tower)

This role comes under "CoreOps Service Private Limited", Air Arabia's newly launched Global Capability Center in Pune, India. 
CoreOps Services Private Limited (a subsidiary of “Air Arabia PJSC”) caters to the global business operations of the Air Arabia group and provides operations support to the Air Arabia parent company as well as its subsidiaries, joint ventures and associates worldwide. “CoreOps” focuses on centralizing, standardizing, and streamlining processes for efficient functioning of the business.

Responsible for managing and coordinating real-time logistics operations, ensuring the seamless flow of goods, data, and information across the supply chain. This role focuses on driving efficiency, visibility, and continuous improvement by providing oversight, guiding teams, resolving high-impact issues, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders to achieve operational excellence.

-    Oversee the monitoring and tracking of shipments, inventory, and distribution activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
-    Manage dashboards and performance indicators, ensuring visibility for key stakeholders.
-    Identify and address potential disruptions, delays, or risks in the supply chain to minimize operational impact.  
-    Coordinate responses to logistics disruptions, escalations, or emergencies, maintaining service levels and supporting operational excellence.  
-    Collaborate with logistics providers, carriers, and partners to optimize on-time performance, cost efficiency, and effectiveness.  
-    Establish performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to achieve operational excellence.  
-    Leverage data analytics tools to interpret logistics data, providing actionable insights to stakeholders.  
-    Generate detailed reports on performance, cost-effectiveness, and improvement opportunities, fostering operational excellence.  
-    Implement digital solutions and control tower technologies to enhance supply chain visibility, efficiency, and control.
-    Identify and execute process improvements, ensuring alignment with operational excellence objectives.  
-    Drive a culture of continuous improvement by focusing on efficiency, reliability, and high-quality logistics operations.  
-    Regularly review and refine processes to enhance overall performance and achieve excellence in supply chain operations.

-    Stay updated on changes in laws and best practices, maintaining compliance while supporting operational excellence.  
-    Ensure all logistics activities adhere to company policies, regulatory standards, and safety requirements.  
-    Regularly review and refine processes to enhance overall performance and achieve excellence in supply chain operations.  

-    Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
-    Additional certification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics will be advantageous 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a similar environment, with experience in control tower operations or logistics coordination, of which at least 2 years’ experience in a supervisory or people management role.
• Well-versed in control tower operations and e-commerce-specific terminology.
• Proficiency in supply chain software and tracking tools; familiarity with data analytics tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to work with data to make informed decisions.
• Knowledge of global logistics practices, including import/export processes, customs regulations, and industry standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills in English language (written & verbal)
• Willingness to work flexible hours.
