We are looking for a Software Developer Team Lead who likes to work on cutting-edge technologies in an environment that gives you the autonomy to explore, learn, and adopt. 
This role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to successfully deliver software products while mentoring and supporting the team. Your focus will be on building and maintaining highly distributed, scalable, high-performing, and cost-effective systems.

Responsibilities


  • Lead of a team of frontend and backend developers
  • Tracks all project-related activities, including tasks, timelines, and team member roles
  • Ability to transform a user story/concept into a working scalable system
  • Ability to self-start and push projects forward toward completion
  • Develop, automate, and enhance SaaS/PaaS platforms built on AWS
  • Ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of frontend systems
  • Build fault-tolerant, scalable, and resilient microservices
  • Develop applications that use React, RESTful API, and Microservices frameworks
  • Collaborate with BigData and product teams to build end-to-end solutions
  • Suggest and implement best practices and architecture improvements

Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience with Cloud services in a 24x7 uptime environment
  • Experience leading a frontend development team
  • Competency in React, JavaScript, SQL/NoSQL Database, API, NodeJS
  • Experience architecting, developing, and testing full-stack code end-to-end
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and associated tools
  • Experience building integrations using web services and maintaining an API
  • Have worked in Agile and DevOps environment and have good understanding of SDLC
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL, Postgres), web servers, containers
  • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with AWS

Nice to have Skills


  • Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and containers
  • Experience with Airflow, ELK, or similar technologies
  • Infrastructure automation
  • Experience with backend big data platforms, technologies, and languages
  • Hands-on work with Gitlab pipelines
