A Day in the Life

At our HR Shared Services we operationalize, execute & consult on Global Talent & Leadership Development (GTLD) programs and processes to ensure a valuable and personalized HR experience for both employees and managers. The team focuses on building a trusted partnership, highlighting efficiencies, and solving problems to improve outcomes and enable the business. The HR Shared Services – Talent Management Operations Coordinator collaborates with Medtronic colleagues, facilitators and learning vendors on Global as well as regional scale (EMEA, APAC and Americas).


As a HR Shared Services – Talent Management Operations Coordinator, you will be providing essential operational support to our Global Talent Management Center of Expertise (COE) by coordinating and managing activities related to performance management, organization and talent planning and other key HR processes and programs.


A Day in the Life:


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


  • Provide operational support to Talent Management Partners in performance management, talent programs and other key HR processes.
  • Manage completion reporting, facilitate data collection for calibration sessions and oversee data management in Workday as required.
  • Assist in Career Profile requests such Talent Card Prints and Talent Spotlights updates.
  • Support High Potential Nominations.
  • Assist with learning and leadership development programs coordination, such Talent 4x, HR Connect calls, and Quarterly Manager Sessions.
  • Provide system, program, and project support to manage virtual events and webinars.
  • Facilitate the creation of New Leader Assimilation surveys through Medallia.
  • Enhance operational standards and collaborate with the Center of Excellence (COE) on process improvements, standard operating procedures, and stakeholder connections.
  • Manage sensitive performance data with the utmost confidentiality, ensuring that all data sharing adheres to company policies and privacy regulations.

Leadership and Talent Management:


  • Responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.

Required Knowledge and Experience:


  • Requires broad practical knowledge of operational systems and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
