Job Description

Role Purpose



We are seeking an experienced and strategic Talent Acquisition Leader to be part of our Global Talent Acquisition Function. This role will Lead our Growth in TA in India, reporting to the Head of TA, EMEAA. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building a recruiting team that attracts, engages, and retains top-tier talent, positioning the centre as a destination of choice for skilled professionals across a variety of core functions.


This person will be responsible for leading the recruitment delivery teams for GBSC (volume hiring team in the India office) & further delivery teams we grow across 2025.


With a key focus of shifting away from transactional recruiting services to strategic end to end Talent Acquisition, from point of attraction and through to day 1 hiring, key will be to deliver brilliance with a sharp eye for operational efficiency, effectiveness and  experience throughout.  
 


Key Accountabilities


  • Key focus will be forming the TA operational team to support the growth of our presence in India whilst evolving the delivery across the wider Business Unit. 
  • Collaborate with the global Employer Brand and Attraction CoE to define local market attraction strategies and enhanced employer brand presence. 
  • Partner with senior stakeholders in across IMEA BU around senior level hiring, ensuing a signature candidate and hiring leader experience is provided throughout.
  • Identify, where appropriate, nuances and local attraction channels and platforms that will support workforce hiring requirements
  • Ensure global recruitment processes and guidelines are adopted regionally and made locally relevant.
  • Drive IHG Academy requirements around early careers in market – matching need to demand with local colleagues, University's and external partnerships
  • Provide strong leadership of the team and drive performance and operational excellence throughout
     

Key Skills & Experiences


  • Experience of setting up Talent Acquisition teams & recruitment delivery models in market.
  • Experience of building ‘talent before need’ talent pipelines against the business workforce plan
  • Proven leadership experience in talent acquisition, managing diverse teams to deliver recruitment in a pro-active manner.
  • Proven success in driving improved delivery capability and optimizing recruitment processes.
  • Ability to lead and develop people with evidence of fostering a strong and inclusive team environment
  • Proven ability to support the delivery of senior level hiring 
  • Data led & detail orientated in approach.
  • Experience of building out Recruitment Shared Service centre operations in India would be beneficial
