Job Description

Financial


  • Identify optimal, cost effective through use and reuse by alteration or stitching of linen and uniform.

Operational


  • Examine Linen and uniform room and ensure cleanliness and serviceability.
  • Store stitched items on shelves, after verifying numbers and types of items.
  • Ensure the delivery of stitched uniforms to the respective personnel.
  • Ensure to track uniform usage and provide mended uniform as requested.
  • To Report for duty punctually wearing the correct uniform and name tag at all times.
  • To abide by the mission statement of the hotel and of the department.
  • Performers any other duties as assigned to him/her by management.

Business plan /Analysis


  • Help to generate revenue for the department though alteration of guest garment on guest request.
  • Ensure that the plan for the optimum conservation of energy is followed.
  • To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities for business plan .

Team Management


  • Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service.
  • Provide effective support to the team to enable them to provide a range of effective and efficient services
  • Respond to employee’s queries by resolving their issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure satisfaction.

General Duty


  • Counts and assembles stitched items, records amounts of linens and uniforms to requisite.
  • Ensure to keep linen room clean and in an orderly condition.
  • Any matter which may effect the interests of the hotel should be brought to the attention of the Management.

Additional Information

experience is an asset
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
