Tableau Developer

As our Tableau Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive data visualizations and dashboards using Tableau. You will work closely with our engineering and analytics teams to translate complex business requirements into intuitive visual representations of data.

As our Tableau Developer, you will have these main objectives:

• Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Tableau to support business intelligence and data analysis initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data analysts, and subject matter experts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visual representations.
• Implement best practices for data visualization, including color theory, layout design, and user experience principles.
• Integrate Tableau with various data sources, including SQL databases, .NET applications, and other data warehousing solutions.
• Optimize data models and calculations for efficient data retrieval and processing within Tableau.
• Develop and maintain data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Implement data security measures, including row-level and user-based permissions, to ensure data privacy and compliance.
• Conduct user training sessions and provide documentation to support the adoption and effective use of Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features, best practices, and industry trends in data visualization and business intelligence.

• Proficiency in ETL processes and data integration methodologies.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and business intelligence tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
