Job Description
The role, working in the Corporate IT team will support the R&D, Operations, Information Technology and other functions using Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) solutions within Thermo Fisher. Systems Analyst will also play a crucial role in supporting project and program management teams within an organization. It will involve a mixture of day-to-day activities, from applications support of systems, project support, and coordination. The role offers the opportunity to work alongside and learn from an established team with a wide variety of skills and experience. Giving the chance to play a key role in the success of several business function teams as well as providing opportunities to be compatible with a variety of IT specialties across the business.

Systems Analyst Role:
PPM Analyst
- Performs PPM configuration
- Engages PPM administrators to assure that global changes are led by all teams
- Performs user administration, data integrity involving project and resource information
- Provide technical support to PPM tool users, resolving system issues and answering queries
- Collaborate with business users to identify issues and challenges in current systems and processes
- Ensure system security, user access control, and compliance with IT policies
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users
PMO Analyst:
- Project support and coordination
- Assist in project planning, scheduling, and execution
- Track project progress, breakthroughs, and achievements
- Enforce alignment to corporate project management policies and processes
- Documents job aids for improving usage of PPM tools
- Assist in financial forecasting and reporting
- Facilitate monthly executive reviews with Leadership teams on achievements
- Raise issues to the Management and the leadership teams for engagement and resolution
Technical Skills:
- 2-4 years IT experience of supporting applications/systems
- Expertise on PPPM tools
- Understanding of cloud technologies would be advantageous
- Familiarity with application development and Windows infrastructure knowledge
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and basic database administration (MS SQL and Oracle)
- Understanding of O365 tools such as PowerBI & PowerApps would be a benefit
- Ability to learn IT Framework including Change, Incident and Problem management and achieve certification
- Excellent communicator as well as have deep technical skills
- Team collaboration with the colleagues on many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and business expertise
- Strong Analytical skills
- Good project management skills

Education: Computer Science or Engineering Bachelor’s Degree
