Department Name– SAP Authorization & S4 Project Execution (EPTS)

The position 
As a System Specialist I_SAP Authorization Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will:


  • Design and implement SAP authorization solutions in Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and across Logistics areas.
  • Engage with technical and compliance SMEs, Business Stakeholders, and vendors in imeplementing SAP Authorization solutions.
  • As a specailist will be part of a central SAP Authorization CoE team and work closely with the Scrum Master to execute requirements in the SAP security product backlog.
  • Having strong prior hands-on experience in SAP Authorization will be a key pre-requisite.
  • Work well within a centralized agile set up with team and stakeholders alike in the SAP landscape.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of SAP development experience, including 6+ years of relevant expertise.
  • Hands-on experience in SAP Security/Authorization implementations and exposure to ECC as well as S4 HANA implementations is a plus.
  • Demonstrate proactiveness and ownership and understand the design of roles in the SAP platform.
  • Maintain and implement the security of the SAP platform in compliance and up to date as per the internal and external requirements.
  • Use compliance with SOPs/Guidelines as the basis for role design/development/modifications under the guidance of a lead within the team.
  • Approach Identity security management with a focus on SAP authorization development, role owners, automating the role and user provisioning processes.
  • Reviewing the business blueprint, functional specifications for SAP security role development and user acceptance test plans and participate during go-live phases.

Digital, Data & IT India is a team of 1000+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. The main role of DD&IT India is to 'manage' IT, which includes System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management and Vendor Management. Enterprise Platform & Tech Services (EPTS) department is an integral part of the DD&IT and is responsible for managing development, support and maintenance processes for various enterprise systems which included Data & Integration, Data management and Automation solutions for all Regions in Novo Nordisk. SAP Authorization CoE will help provide security implementations to Product Supply, R&D, Finance and HR working across SAP application areas and handling some of the most Financial or GxP critical IT processes in Novo Nordisk.
