The position
As a System Manager for Managed File Transfer (MFT) and DataStage at Novo Nordisk, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:


  • Drive development of Managed File Transfer (MFT) interfaces, handle documentation, and monitor/troubleshoot as needed.
  • Ensure Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform's upkeep, manage upgrades, and maintain compliance with NovoNordisk’ s best practices. Liaise with stakeholders on platform needs and vendor services.
  • Manage DataStage and Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations and maintenance services, contract management, including vendor relations and compliance upkeep.
  • Ensure vendor teams for both the systems comply with requirements, conducting yearly assessments and obtaining approval from NovoNordisk Quality Analyst and System Owner.
  • Coordinate with the system owner to discuss Service Level Agreement (SLA), DataStage’s and Managed File Transfer (MFT’s) annual budget, costs, future support model, and platform end-of-life planning.

Qualification


  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a relevant field.
  • 7+ years of experience within IT, 3+ years of experience with service management, service delivery and/or operational vendor management or within operation and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Good to have knowledge in managing GXP platforms.
  • Knowledge of data integration technologies such as DataStage & MFT preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of vendor management and compliance requirements.
  • Experience of Pharmaceutical industry experience (working with GxP system).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The Digital, Data & IT (DD&IT) department at Novo Nordisk is a team of over 1000 highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bangalore. DD&IT GBS India is responsible for managing IT systems, projects, infrastructure, compliance, security, processes, and vendors. As part of DD&IT GBS, the SAP Development & Integration CoE department manages the development, support, and maintenance of SAP platforms, Mulesoft, Kafka, and other technologies for all regions in Novo Nordisk.
