About the department


Vault Quality & Facilities IT GBS (VQFIT) is an integral part of Digital Data & IT Staffs Team, which currently consists of highly skilled IT professionals responsible for IT operations for all major Global Quality and Facilities IT systems in Novo Nordisk. The team is responsible for managing day-to-day IT support, development, validation and testing of entire Quality Management System of Novo Nordisk, spanning across entire globe. The key objective of VQFIT is to ensure robust IT support to systems, which in turn ensures product quality and patient safety for Novo Nordisk.


The position 


As a System Manager–II at Novo Nordisk, you will have the following responsibilities:


  • Manage the maintenance and development of IT systems and services.
  • Manage the Compliance Maintenance (Periodic Reports, Deviations) and responsible for audits and inspection, preparation & representation, compliance maintenance like GDPR, EU Regulations.
  • Manage the Budget Responsibility for global service desk, Identity access management, Application maintenance, operation maintenance, application development & License and SOW/PO management.
  • Responsible for the planning and execution of system activities in the system team and software license management.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and platform teams to drive agile transformation.
  • End-to-end responsible for Audits and Inspection Preparation & Representation and single point of contact and responsible for facing all the related Audits and Inspections as System Manager (QualityDocs).

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:


  • Masters/bachelor’s with 10 to 12 years of experience within the pharmaceutical or other relevant industry, with at least 5 years as a System Manager (Vault Quality Docs) and 8 years of experience within operation and maintenance of IT systems in large organizations.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience working with GxP requirements, validation & compliance, and 6 years of experience with IT project work or IT experience covering specification, design, development, or implementation of IT solutions.
  • Experience in Budget Management, People Management, Strategy Management, Vendor Management, wide range of stake holder management and experience in Compliance maintenance & validation is required.
  • Experience in Documentation review and Agile Transformation/ methodologies and good understanding of Infrastructure, ITIL process, SAAS, Network, On premise Cloud: Process & challenges.
  • Should have excellent communication skills and global stakeholder engagement experience.
