- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering experience
- Advanced Knowledge in Linux systems administration
- 5+ years proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Python, Java, Go, Typescript, Ruby, to build reusable tools
- Systems engineering, site reliability experience of building and operating systems at scale
- Experience leading the design, build and deployment of complex and performant (reliable and scalable) software solutions in production
- Experience writing technical documents, project plans and progress reports to leadership and to stakeholders
- Experience hiring, developing and mentoring engineers
- Experience managing scaled cloud systems with a focus on operational excellence
- Experience working with high-availability, distributed systems and services
