Could you be the full-time Signalling Engineer in Bangalore we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your signalling expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, dedicated, and forward-thinking teammates.
You'll contribute to the design and specification of our advanced signalling systems. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (System Architects, Engineering Managers, RAM, Safety, Sub-system, Software, Product, and V&V teams), engage in conceptual design and interface solutions, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of analyzing and clarifying requirements, performing real-time analysis, and maintaining system specifications, but also support the System Application Architect for projects and tenders.
We’ll look to you for:
Applying process, methods, and tools for system design and specification
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop design concepts
Formalizing system requirements and ensuring their traceability
Participating in technical reviews and contributing to continuous improvement efforts
Supporting material selection and procurement for system delivery
Adhering to and promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics with the highest standards of ethical conduct

Degree in Engineering or a related field
Experience or understanding of system engineering processes and methodologies
Knowledge of product & domain specific to rail signalling systems
Familiarity with design for safety and RAM compliance
A certification in system engineering (preferred)
Proficiency in requirement management and technical documentation
Strong English communication skills to work transversally with global engineering teams
