Job Description
Responsible for requirement management, high level design, technical management, implementation and testing of simulation projects as directed by the Project Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Realize target architecture, advancing business and technology roadmap.
- Handle high level system architectures and interfaces for Sydac product and projects.
- Analyze current product/project environment to detect critical deficiencies and suggest enhancement solutions.
- Analyze industry and market trends to identify impact on existing solution & architecture.
- Lead architecture vision, design and documentation.
- Represent technical team to program managers and executive leadership.
- Communicate technical needs, opportunities and constraints to project managers, functional teams, and leadership.
- Function as subject matter expert and system architecture authority for systems integration.
- Lead on system design, architecture and integration.
- Lead project teams to use technology to support system architecture design.
- Approve high risk designs before execution and define solutions, strategy and enterprise architecture services.
- Lead, govern and collaborate across team development functions.
- Offer design leadership, input and manage system tradeoffs.
- Design and document key system components, interfaces, infrastructure and communications.
- Provide requirement management, translation of high-level customer requirement to detailed system and software requirement.
- Provide detailed analysis of requirements, definition of done, and technical guidance to the functional teams
- Provide acceptance criterial, framework and scope of test environment, test setup, and test execution
- Provide leadership and ownership of PDR, CDR, and other design/architecture related activities with internal and external stakeholder.
- Maintain upto date backlog in Jira, address any gaps on regular basis
- To work horizontally across the teams with an emphasis on architecture, system requirement, design, and acceptance testing. Provide greater visibility of technical performance in a wider context over and above the current task to all teams in Pune
- Be eyes and ears for the Team in Adelaide (extension of ADL systems team), participate in regular discussions, provide constant updates on the ground situation in Pune.
