FBA Analytics is looking for competent, curious, resourceful, and experienced Business Analyst to supercharge our analytical capabilities. The candidate must have excellent quantitative and data analytical abilities and have experience working with statistical models to assess and measure impact, and build predictive models.
A career in FBA Analytics will lead you to dive deep into some of the most complex problems, such as improving business processes across 8 marketplaces for our selling partners, and lowering prices, improving delivery speeds and maximizing available selection for our customers.
The role presents an exciting opportunity to mine petabytes of data in one of the world's largest data lakes in the world via leveraging a wide plethora of Data Analysis and Data Visualization techniques and tools. Your goal will be to discern the complex system decision patterns, to uncover profound insights and to build sustainable tech artifacts to support FBA EU business growth. A typical project involves identifying and onboarding data sources, exploring new tables to identify how relevant information is stored, then validating business intuitions with analytics. You will help scoping financial viability of breakthrough programs, and create solid reporting mechanisms and stunning data visualization, to monitor progress towards business goals and help with the continuous improvement of our offer to Sellers

Key job responsibilities
• to build data pipelines for key Seller Fees and PanEU metrics
• to analyze the Seller Journey on FBA and identify new growth levers for PanEU
• to automate manually maintained ETL pipelines
• to lead deep dives working backwards from business hypothesis and anecdotes
• to build insightful dashboards for non-tech audience
• to contribute to key business documents
• to own several strategic initiatives, which are the part of department’s analytics strategy
• to efficiently collaborate with business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or similar
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in business intelligence, business analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related quantitative field
• Proven track record of leading analytics projects which included data mining, predictive and/or prescriptive analytics
• Proficiency in SQL, ETL and databases in a business environment
• Proficiency in at least one data visualization tool/software (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, QuickSight)
• Impeccable attention to detail, passion for processes, systems and data mining
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or similar
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience in a fast-paced, high-tech environment with the main expertise in business intelligence, business analytics, statistics, data engineering, data science or related quantitative field
