A centralized patch management team is an essential component of any organization's cybersecurity infrastructure. It is responsible for overseeing and implementing patch management processes across the entire network and ensuring that all systems and software are up to date with the latest security patches.

The primary goal of a centralized patch management team is to mitigate security vulnerabilities and protect the organization's assets from potential threats. By promptly applying patches and updates, they help close security loopholes that hackers and malicious actors could exploit to gain unauthorized access or compromise sensitive data.

What you will be doing

• Management of OS related Security and Vulnerability management   
• OS hardening and monitoring.
• Managing the OS Patching of Unix systems to provide elevated level of security to the clients.
• Following Worldpay standards and projects polices
• Ensuring the delivery in time.
• Effective Communication skill and able to support 24X7.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work with limited supervision in a highly competitive team.
• Proactively managing the environment to prevent incidents from occurring.
• Perform in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis while working in a diverse technology environment.
• Experience with ITIL processes like Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, will be added advantage.
• Basis Unix server system administration Knowledge.
• Be a client champion, Win as One Team, Be the change.

What you bring:

• 3-4years of Experience in Unix Administration Knowledge
• In-depth understanding of Unix Patch Management
• Troubleshooting Patch Failures and basic of Unix pathing failure troubleshooting.
• Should know how to Patch Servers manually.
• Patch Rollback & Vulnerability analysis.
• Understanding of Patching Tool (BFX, WSUS, SCCM)
• Log analysis for Unix Servers
• Understanding of Patching Tool (Relays, Baseline, Fixlets, Relevance)
• Understanding of Vulnerability Analysis and Remediation.
• Major Incident Management, Vendor Management (MS, HCL) & Troubleshooting.
• Stakeholder Engagements and Escalation Management.
• Documentation.
• ITIL Process - Changes/Incidents/Problem Ticket.
• Good communication skill
• Patch Identification: Monitoring security advisories, and other trusted sources to identify new patches and updates released by software and hardware vendors.
• Work schedule/shift - 24X7
• Scripting knowledge will be added advantage.
