We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• Perform Sybase Database Engineering, Build, Delivery & provide Support to critical FICC applications.
• Responsible for Second-line Sybase Support
• In line with the DevOps strategy, you will work closely with the application and infrastructure POD SMEs to ensure these critical services function to the required standards & Automate common database tasks through configuration management..
• Creating an environment which fosters free, open debate and teamwork.
• Provide database technical experience and troubleshoot issues when faced in real time environment.
• Make the environment better by identifying problems and improve the monitoring.
• Participate in platform improvement initiatives like improvement of performance, production stability.
• Ownership of problems to complete resolution, good communication to the stakeholders for tasks updates and delivery
