The Digital Enablement Platform team is responsible to build the next generation of applications, Services, micro services and SDKs to facilitate Web and mobile commerce in everyone's digital lives. Our focus is to build profoundly simple services, apps and SDKs that embed into our customers' everyday lives. We are seeking a highly skilled Sr Software Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience and specializing in Java Backend Development. The ideal candidate will have a strong development knowledge of Core Java, Spring, Spring boot, API development, services and micro services, integration and Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD). In this position, you are first and foremost a passionate and talented developer that can work in a dynamic environment as a member of Agile Scrum teams.

We are seeking a Java backend Engineer with 1 to 3 years of experience in developing web applications. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Java, Spring, REST, OOAD, API development. This role will involve developing high-quality, innovative, and fully performing software, SDKs and Web Applications that complies with coding standards and technical design.
Responsibilities:
Hands-on software development focused on Java, Spring, and databases.
Implement, and manage RESTful APIs for front-end and application integrations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Integrate AI tools and frameworks into backend services.
Optimize application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
Analyze and debug simple issues and Identify and fix bottlenecks and bugs.
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply improvements.
Ensure code compliance with designs and specifications guide the team accordingly.
Prepare and produce software releases supervise deployment.
Support continuous improvement by exploring alternatives and presenting for architectural review.
Optimize components for performance across various devices and browsers.
Support piloting of new technology capabilities to enhance user experience in e-commerce products.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience
1 to 3 years of experience in java back-end development
Proven hands-on software development experience with Java and Spring.
Strong proficiency in Core Java and Java EE.
Extensive experience with Spring Framework like Spring Boot
Solid understanding of RESTful services and API design.
Familiarity with AI tools and machine learning.
Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of concurrency and multithreading in Java.
Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD).
Proven record of leading a software development team.
Excellent communication and leadership skills
