Job Description

Wellness
You will fully embrace and safeguard the overall Wellness philosophy, concepts, and programs such as Sleep with Six Senses. You will ensure that all wellness brand initiatives are fully embraced, and You will participate regularly in our Mission Wellness activities.  All aspects of these wellness initiatives will be adopted and implemented throughout the operation.
Sustainability
Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. As Sustainability Manager, You will ensure all directives on environmental protection and preservation, re-usage, and minimum wastage, purchasing and packaging, social responsibility and all other practices documented in the Sustainability Guidelines are followed in Earth-Lab to maintain a harmonious and sensitive approach to our environment and cultural surroundings. 


Roles and Responsibilities: 
You will safeguard the pillar of Sustainability and fully embrace all sustainable initiatives adopted and implemented within the resort.  
Operational Ownership
•    In this role, you will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation of Earth-Lab tasks allocated to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.
•    You will assist Director Sustainability on achieving the results in Sustainability and coordinate all Sustainability Fund Projects, Sustainability programs at Earth-Lab, as well as the related training together with Human Resources and the respective departments.
•    You will assist in ensuring that all set policies, procedures, and best practices are in place and rigorously enforced. 
•    A high standard of personal appearance, grooming and hygiene, plus comprehensive knowledge of safety, security and emergency procedures will be maintained in line with brand and statutory requirements.
•    All activities within the department will be carried out ethically, honestly and within the parameters of local law.
•    By keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and continually updating my knowledge and skills, you will implement the most suitable sustainability practices for the operation that are relevant and in line with Six Senses policies. 
•    An important part of the role is to interact with guests and hosts in a professional, courteous and positive manner and proactively seek feedback, using guest names whenever possible. 
•    You have full knowledge of all facilities and services offered by the resort including all room and F&B categories as well as their location and layout. 



Specific Role Requirements:
You will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:
•    Greet visitors and callers, handle their inquiries, and direct them to the appropriate persons
according to their needs in Earth Lab and other areas as well related to Sustainability.
•    Complete forms in accordance with retreat procedures. 
•    Lead the Sustainability Fund Projects related to community, environmental and wildlife with respect to the Sustainability Fund Guidelines.
•    Assist in engagement with the local community on a regular basis will ensure the property is an active and supportive member through Sustainability Fund projects and educational/fun sustainability activities.
•    Maintain and analyze the Sustainability data using the IHG Green Engage platform within the retreat.
•    Steer the Monthly Sustainability Committee Meeting and maintain the communication with all the retreat departments.
•    Maintain all the formal communications with the Home Office sustainability team.
•    Prepare the complimentary activities and have materials set up as per standards.
•    Maintain and execute the workshops at the Earth Lab.
•    Ensure bookings for Earth-Lab activities for the next day are confirmed and organized and all materials ready.
•    Innovate and assist in creating new initiatives in line with Earth-Lab activities.
•    Liaise with Earth-Labs in other Six Senses properties to see what they are producing.
•    Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
•    Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
•    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
•    Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.



Skills and Experience
You have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar or greater role in luxury hotels with proven results. 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability or relevant fields and 
•    Certification on Environmental Management, Sustainability, or closely related field.
•    More than 5 years of experience in Sustainability.
•    Expert Microsoft Excel, PPT and other Technical Skills.
•    Fluent in English.
