As a Business Intelligence Professional in our Sustainability Strategy and Operations team you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.


Each and every day, Chief Administrative Office (CAO) colleagues around the world are helping the company work better, faster and safer. The Chief Administrative Office is comprised of multiple global teams that support JPMorgan Chase's businesses in 60 countries, including: Global Site Services and Supplier Services, Global Security & Investigations, Global Real Estate, Amenities Services, Global Business & Document Services and CAO Strategic Initiatives. 


The Sustainability Strategy and Operations team is responsible for the Firm’s carbon management strategy, including tracking and reporting the Firm’s GHG emissions and progress toward our operational sustainability targets. The team also coordinates the implementation of operational sustainability efforts across the corporate functions, manages sustainability-focused employee engagement, and identifies and sources carbon credits. The Sustainability Strategy and Operations team is led by the Deputy Director of Global Sustainability, who reports to the Global Head of Sustainability.


Job Responsibilities


  • Create and maintain Alteryx workflows to streamline and enhance data governance and perform quality control checks on data and reporting
  • Ensure Alteryx workflows are logged appropriately within firm tracking requirements
  • Assist in creation and updating of service charters, ensuring alignment with our policies and standards 
  • Support the development and maintenance of SOPs related to data governance and reporting
  • Participate in data enhancements and scope expansion projects, providing support with effective data analysis and updating processes
  • Develop and maintain decision trees required for input data to GHG emissions calculations
  • Support on other special projects related to achieving process efficiencies

  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and governance 
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of Tableau 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively in a small team and proactively cultivate relationships with a diverse range of internal and external partners
  • Ability to excel in a high-performance, professional environment, while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to connect and distill trends and insights
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) and presentation skills 
  • Strong initiative, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills


  • Stellar academic credentials (Bachelor degree or equivalent, MBA or post-graduation in environmental science preferred), at least 5+ years of experience in Data governance, Business Intelligence and preferably data analysis and reporting
  • Advanced Alteryx developer (must have), Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint); advanced excel preferred
