Supply Chain Specialist – Mumbai, India

At Smith+Nephew, we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living!The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for all documentation and processes relates to imports/exports, raising of purchase orders, acting as the liaison with all parties to ensure a smooth and complete transaction.
What will you be doing?
The resource will coordinate with freight forwarders, customs agent, distributors and sales team to produce accurate shipping documentation and achievement of high service levels.
Responsibilities:
Track and Manage Import Shipments
Import Custom clearance handling.
MIS Data & Reports circulation in time
PO creation and timely submission to source.
Purchase Return Process management
Manage Drop shipments for South East Asian Countries.
What will you need to be successful?
Successful candidates would need the following:
Min Graduation/ Masters in Operations preferred
2-5 Years of EXIM experience.
Competency in Materials Management functions (Planning & forecasting; Inventory management)
Should have good knowledge and working experience in any ERP and Key business process such as procurement, imports, exports and sales & distribution functions.
Good communication skill and problem solving abilities.
Travel Requirements: 10–25%
