As a Supply Chain Performance Manager, you provide critical thinking within a fast-paced global manufacturing environment translating supply chain strategies into practical processes and programs delivering value across the extended chain whether this be in inventory reductions or operational excellence. You utilize your knowledge and experience to coordinate emerging initiatives across the end-to-end supply chain from component suppliers through to delivery of our finished goods ensuring high levels of process adherence and compliance



What You Will Do:



As Supply Chain Performance Manager , your accountabilities will include, but are not limited to:           


  • Identifying innovative supply chain solutions and implanting seamless project initiatives in order to deliver short- and medium-term goals and KPI’s
  • Deliver end to end compliant processes across inventory governance through to import and export as well as customs controls
  • Support the development and execution of a localised supply chain strategy across multiple facets from transportation through to inventory control and presentation methods
  • Support all facility initiatives including NPI programs through the demonstration of high levels of collaboration and values-based leadership within a lean environment
  • Provide leadership and coaching to team members in order to build highly engaged teams

What You Can Demonstrate:


Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational, tactical and strategic planning in support of the overall business plan.


  • Develops, refines, and communicates tactical plans for own responsibilities.
  • Provides the right level of detail as input for strategic plan development.
  • Demonstrates the value and necessity of linking tactical plans to overall strategic plan.
  • Ensures attention to the detail and dependencies of existing departmental-level plans.
  • Plans for allocation of resources in line with unit goals, technical and business objectives.
  • Ensures the planning process is integrated with the overall business plan.

Supply Chain Management - PHA: Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials, components and supplies, and delivery of finished products.


  • Demonstrates experience with managing the complete supply chain management process.
  • Quantifies and discusses benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.
  • Discusses capacity issues at various points in the supply chain.
  • Oversees supply chain finance activities and measurements of effectiveness.
  • Participates in supply chain network design or redesign projects or processes.
  • Creates and monitors mechanisms for process and system integration with clients and partners.
     

Project Administration : Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.


  • Explains concepts of phase, activity and task.
  • Experience delivering projects in a 6Sigma methodology
  • Provides examples of project data that is tracked.
  • Identifies deliverables, resources and dependencies in project plans.
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of organizational project management practices and tools

Global Perspective: Knowledge of issues, opportunities, and challenges for conducting business in the international marketplace; ability to apply global perspectives appropriately in a wide range of situations.


  • Coaches others on legal, regulatory, and financial issues across multiple countries.
  • Participates in developing current and planned infrastructure for conducting global business.
  • Advises on the application of global policies to regional and local operations.
  • Oversees current projects using experience with conducting business in several countries.
  • Coordinates country-specific legal and financial compliance reviews.

What You May Have:


  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or Business Management or equivalent experience desired
  • At least 8 years of experience in SCM
  • APICS certification in Supply Chain
  • Experience working in a fast paced and pressured manufacturing environment with a proven track record of performance and growth.
  • SAP transactional experience
