Trimble is recruiting for a Supplier Master, Senior Analyst to fill a career opportunity in Chennai, India. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager, Shared Services.
Job Summary
The Supplier Master, Senior Analyst (AP) executes accurate and timely data management related to supplier/vendor setup, update, and maintenance. Maintains documentation that adequately supports those transactions and communicates with suppliers/vendors to ensure their accounts are updated accurately in Trimble’s ERP environments. The position is also responsible for responding to supplier/vendor inquiries and updating supplier/vendor exception reports for tracking purposes.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a centralized intake process for all supplier/vendor setup, update, and maintenance activities
Collaborate with buyers, procurement, supplier/vendors, and business systems teams to ensure consistent, and accurate supplier/vendor data is established across enterprise platforms
Timely research and resolution of vendor inquiries regarding supplier/vendor setup, update, and maintenance
Responsible for providing excellent customer service for internal and external stakeholders by processing supplier/vendor data while ensuring SOX compliance is maintained
Responsible for obtaining appropriate regional tax forms as per the compliance process (APAC, EU, and AME)
Responsible for SOX controls (bank fraud controls/payment term reviews)
Clears suspended transactions and maintains an updated active supplier/vendors list at any given point in time
Stay abreast of current supplier/vendor management trends to drive optimization and process improvements
Support implementation, and continuous improvement of supplier/vendor data management and reporting, including tracking alignment with policies, procedures, and guidelines
Performs a variety of other functions/ad-hoc projects as assigned to achieve the department/company's goals and business objectives

Education / Experience
3-5 years of experience in supplier/vendor data management preferably in Oracle/NetSuite ERP environments
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Businesspreferred.
Knowledge of end-to-end supplier/vendor account management and accounts payable procedures
Proficient in data entry and management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word, Salesforce, and Google Docs
Good written and oral communication skills
Must be flexible to work in shifts (EU, and US/AME hours).
