Role and Key Responsibility:


  • FTE’s.
  • Review and approve responsible lending, underwriting, credit assessment decisions made by the team-members, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
  • Responsible for management of Credit Analysts and Underwriters, including performance reviews, coaching/development
  • Establish and maintain quality assurance standards for the processes.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of responsible lending or underwriting files to ensure compliance and identify areas of improvement
  • Work with various departments to streamline process/procedures
  • Address any discrepancies or issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues or high-risk underwriting activities to prevent future errors and ensure continuous quality improvement.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on insights

Key Skills & Knowledge:


  • Associate's degree in related field with 5+ years of relevant experience in Banking, Finance, underwriting or Credit risk assessment with Voice experience with a minimum of 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Mortgage Underwriting, credit assessment or responsible lending principles, policies and regulations.
  • Ability to read, interpret and analyze the documents such as mortgage policies, procedure, regulatory documents
  • Proven track record of effectively leading and developing a team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Highly motivated individual with skills to develop and coach team members to achieve performance expectations
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with SVAR level B 60 or above
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of responsible lending, underwriting, Insurance/Mortgage credit risk assessment and experience of managing the team of 15-20

Qualification :- Graduate or either 12 + 3 yr diploma holder
