Avantor is looking for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Supervisor, Applications Support, who will be responsible for delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

MAJOR JOB DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES (KPIs)


  • Full working knowledge of the digital Solutions suite which include Inventory Manager, Chemical Manager and Equipment Manager
    • Lead and monitor the team in providing administrative support to the various .com instances we utilize in conjunction with our digital solutions suite.
  • Oversee electronic communication between DS suite and our ERP SAP system.
    • Possess full knowledge of SAP ERP Order to Cash
    • Assist with resolution of SAP XML communication issues.
    • Monitor Accurate Set up and maintenance EDI integrations.
  • Possess working knowledge of C4C.
    • Provide support to Equipment services team (C4C, FSM)
    • Review the lead/Opportunity pipeline providing suggestions to Stakeholders
  • Lead & Implement multiple Automations/Improvement through ABS Methodology for the Coimbatore Services team through problem solving and Analytics.
  • Manage Priority projects, identify process risks, being a core contact for Digital Solutions
  • Ensure P1 issues are acted upon immediately and prioritized. Review P2 issues for the tools and prioritize for resolution.
  • Coach and develop the team to be successful and ready for the next level
  • Approver post UAT Testing of Tool Enhancements & Defect resolution.
  • Responsible for team performance, visibility, and success
  • Promote an inclusive, respectful workplace, by uncovering issues that are specific to the needs of a diversity community.
  • Provide training and instruction to end users
  • Seeks opportunities to provide solutions to resolve issues with Digital Solutions tools.
  • Provides recommendations on areas for process improvement within both the applications and site SOPs.
  • Make decisions based on policies and past precedents, seeking guidance, as necessary.
  • Be accountable for performance metrics such as schedule adherence, productivity standards, and quality standards of process & people.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education/training, experience, and certifications)


  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 5+ years relevant experience in Digital Solutions Tools (Inventory Manager, Chemical Manager and Equipment Manager) is Preferred
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and resourcefulness, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Intermediate computer skills are necessary; ability to work in multiple systems concurrently.
  • Technical proficiency with the ability to quickly learn and train proprietary systems.

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and employees from other departments, while also demonstrating the capability to work independently.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Good organization and time management skills
  • Display attentive and active listening abilities.
  • Ability to maintain composure and positive attitude during challenging situations.
  • Good knowledge with SAP system, particularly in Inventory Operations and Order to Cash (OTC) processes
