The Role


As a Supervisor with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience.

  • The Craft Supervisor reports to the Senior Craft Supervisor and is responsible for coordinating and supervising the execution of craft activities of a certain discipline (civil, structural, piping). Provides close supervision and leadership for all aspects of assigned discipline work at the project site while supervising and controlling subcontractors work.
  • Check on continuous basis craft compliance with project safety program and job skill requirements, document and report possible corrective measures to Senior Supervisor
  • Thorough understanding of work scope under his control, the work load of the Subcontractor and project specifications and drawings related to a certain discipline (mechanical, civil, electrical, instrumentation) work
  • Supervise and guide Subcontractor Supervisors for timely and accurate work execution. Ensure that all the work activities are completed as per the quality norms in the Quality Plan and as per project specifications
  • Assist Contractor in generating a Daily Work Plan from the 3WLA schedule for discipline work based on work front (drawing and material release) plan. Where AWP is used, assist Contractor to execute the work on CWP's as planned
  • Drive and assist the Contractor to execute the work on the daily plan with coordination from Senior Supervisor and ensure that work as contained in Senior Supervisor plan is executed by Subcontractor and report any deviations to Senior Supervisor
  • Assist Subcontractor in preparation/implementation of Method Statement, Job hazard analysis, risk assessment and mitigation plan in consultation with HSSE team for key discipline activities
  • Check that all material arriving on site for installation, is conforming to drawing and Specification.
  • Ensures routine good housekeeping is performed on site by Contractor.
  • Inspect Sub-contractors prefabrication and erection equipment for satisfactory operating conditions and adequacy for the job to be carried out.
  • Carry out any other duties as and when required by the Senior supervisor.

About You


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Job Specific Knowledge: Knowledge of quality control, safe ways of working, resource requirement, sequence of activities, and supervision of construction activities for the respective discipline. Aware of the requirements of various applicable standards (Indian Standards, ASME etc.) for the respective discipline
  • Industry Specific Experience: Graduate Engineers with minimum 8 years of experience in Fertilizer, Oil & Gas Sector and Chemicals. Should have experience with working in a consultant company.
  • Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Graduate in Engineering in respective discipline
  • HSE Capability: Knowledge of safe methods of execution of construction activities for the respective discipline
  • IT Skills: Proficient in MS Office
  • People Skills: Team Player, interpersonal skills
  • Other: Adaptable, open towards learning and development, person of integrity
