The Role


As a Subsea Structural Engineer Level II with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc…. 


  • Worley Hyderabad have exciting projects underway and are looking for individuals that want to be part of global energy projects.
  • We are now looking for a Senior Subsea Template and Manifold Engineer to join our highly skilled team who are responsible for delivering services across feasibility and concept studies, FEED, detailed design, and fabrication engineering for our subsea clients. Worley delivers complete solutions within EPC projects.
  • Lead the design, analysis, and verification of subsea manifold and connection systems, including lifting, load-out, transportation, installation, and in-place assessments.
  • Develop strength calculations, and calculation reports for subsea structure and manifold components.
  • Develop engineering specifications:
    • Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools (e.g., ANSYS, SACS) to ensure the integrity and performance of subsea template structures and manifolds.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant international subsea codes and standards.
    • Verify structural integrity of subsea template structures and manifolds.
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including fabrication, installation, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment of design and execution.
    • Review and approve technical documents, including design reports, material specifications, and installation procedures.
    • Provide technical support during the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of subsea template and manifolds, including addressing technical queries from the site.
    • Participate in risk assessments, HAZIDs 

About You 


To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:


  • Minimum 5 years relevant work experience
  • Familiar with Subsea Template and Manifolds; Tie in and Connection Systems
  • Familiar with subsea standards and regulations (e.g., API, DNV, ISO, ASME standards (ASME B31.8 and ASME VIII)) during design and fabrication phases.
  • Good understanding of subsea template and manifold design, installation, and operations.
  • Knowledge of structural load assessments, fatigue analysis, and finite element analysis. including offshore lifting.
  • Experience with the installation, fabrication, and testing of subsea template structures and manifolds, including offshore construction techniques and challenges.
  • Knowledge of subsea piping design analyses including tie-in, operation would be added advantage
  • Experience in PLEM; PLET; Flexible flowlines and umbilical will be considered as an advantage.
  • M.Tech. in Structural Engineering or Ocean Engineering. Long and broad relevant work experience may substitute for lack of higher formal education.
  • A recognized A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil/Structural)
