Your role in a nutshell

No two days for a Check Point security engineer are the same, from getting hands on with the most advanced technologies in the market, to learning more about the customer’s most pressing security challenges and playing a crucial part in designing a solution, you’re always at the heart of fascinating projects!

 You will be responsible for

• Provide strategic customers and partners with guidance on security best practices, architectures and protection strategies.
• Architectural  / design / solution ownership & support and review ownership & support
• Drive adoption of emerging technologies like Threat Emulation. Work to identify the top 10 strategic customers in your region and assist the local team in growing the business.
• Deliver Quarterly training for internal Check Point SE’s and partner SE’s  in your region covering emerging technologies and solutions.
• Identify and support top 10 complex projects (new technologies and large-scale refresh programs) in region per quarter. Drive planning and architecture to position existing and emerging technologies.
• Deliver and support, in coordination with the Solution Center, approximately 2-3 security workshops per quarter.  
• RFP templates / RFP Boiler plates / RFP support
• Supporting Marketing team in events, webinars, conferences
• Technical thought leadership
• Technical / Technology training requirements planning / guidance
• Owing 2-3 accounts from technical front along with SE’s & building technology vision / framework

What you bring to the table

• BE in  EE/E&C./CS degree
• 8+ years in networking standards and protocols (Ethernet, routing, Unix, Network Mgr., Internet Protocol addressing).
• Solid data communication experience.
• Working knowledge of system design.
• Check Point experience and certification preferred
• Security background and pre-sales experience preferred
• Extensive Travel required.
