Student Recruitment Manager – (FIC/SFU)


About the role


The Student Recruitment Manager (FIC/SFU) plays a significant role in student recruitment growth and achieving student recruitment targets in their region on behalf of Navitas North America - working closely with colleagues based in colleges and in-market including the Regional Management team.


This position will be responsible for on the ground recruitment activities including the execution of the high school strategy for Fraser International College and Simon Fraser University. This role requires the ability to support a broad range of internal and external stakeholders across the region to drive long-term growth for specific product(s) in the market.


Key Responsibilities


  • Operationalize student recruitment plans in the relevant country/territory in collaboration with college based and in-market teams.
  • Execute the regional high school strategy for FIC and SFU to drive student recruitment through the high school channel.
  • Respond with enquiries and follow-up from students & high school counsellors utilizing appropriate internal processes and procedures.
  • Visit high schools to meet counsellors and provide updates about FIC and SFU, nurture the relationship with the school, attend school fairs and conduct information sessions.
  • Travel within India or abroad for attending school events and meeting key stakeholders in high schools for lead generation, conversion and business development.
  • Participate in all recruitment activities on behalf of FIC and SFU including, but not limited to, training, events, student conversion, information sessions and managing enquiries (related to the high school channel).
  • Organize events and activities to engage and nurture the relationship with high school counsellors and students throughout the year.
  • Handle student enquiries and manage leads, sales forecasts through regular and detailed reports to the SSRM, School Engagement Manager, Head of Sales, Director of Marketing and Recruitment and Regional Managers.
  • Ensure complete and accurate reporting of all activities on the CRM and Application Management System.
  • Support Marketing Managers in the execution of all pre-departure touchpoints in the student journey.
  • Support SFU/FIC staff when they are visiting the region for recruitment and business development activities.

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Proven track record of strong sales performance
  • Experience in recruitment, adult education, and familiarity with South Asia markets
  • High-level numeric literacy and critical thinking
  • High level interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills required in Business level English both written and speaking.
  • Ability to meet targets within defined timelines among changing priorities.
  • Success in a sales role within the Higher Education sector
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
