Business Information: The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2300 skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries. Mission Statement: In this role, you will be a part of our Indian operation center. The unit is a part of the global Business unit Grid Automation in Hitachi Energy Business. It delivers to our Utility and Industrial customers a comprehensive range of automation products and solutions to improve grid reliability and efficiency and enable complete grid control of all power distribution networks, from the most basic to advanced, including renewable power integration and battery storage systems. Your Roles and Responsibilities:  Preparing quotations against customer inquiry & follow-up on quotations with the clients. Ensure all sales orders are booked in SAP & scheduled within stipulated time. Preparing Purchase orders to suppliers, DN, OA, and invoices to the customer, coordinating for dispatches to customer location etc. To follow through on all instructions communicated on the purchase order and also by orders received from the customer directly Co-ordinate with suppliers & Customers for any deviations (quantity discrepancy, documentation issues, quality concerns etc.). Provide cross functional operational support to Factory, Sales, Logistics, Finance, Transport & customs, and Operations on daily basis. Keep posted on the progress with customers on all information related to orders like OA, Delivery dates, Shipment tracking, Delivery documents, Invoice etc.  Handle queries and escalations related to Sales quotation, Purchase orders, Customer orders, Expedition, Return Material Authorization etc. Update & Maintain Master data related to Materials, Suppliers, Customers etc. in SAP. Maintain proactive communication with Sales and Management on any urgent orders/exception. Maintain customer order booking database and prepare Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports as and when required Maintain and monitor KPI metrics, including parameters like on-time delivery, Invoice clearance etc. Should be able to think creatively and work towards continuous process improvements and process automations. You will be involved in projects of varying size and scope, geographically spread across the HUB. Your Background: Bachelor's degree in electrical, experience in relevant field. Must have 3 -5 years of experience. Should have sound knowledge of project supply chain execution & Order execution experience. Technical, Contractual and Commercial understanding. Experience with working in an international environment across time zones. Should have knowledge of SAP is highly beneficial. Analytical metrics-oriented, high motivation. Must be a collaborative team player, willing to take ownership of decisions Ability to communicate well and professionally with internal and external clients Works independently, applying established standards and instructs or coaches others in SCM matters.
