Job Description

The  Sr. Client Executive is responsible for building and managing strategic relationships with Indian Energy majors. The role involves driving business growth, aligning company solutions to client needs, and addressing challenges in energy transition, sustainability, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will leverage industry expertise, business acumen, and strong leadership to support clients’ goals in navigating the evolving energy and chemical landscape.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Client Relationship Management:


   •   Develop and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders at Indian oil majors.


   •   Serve as the primary point of contact for executive-level engagements, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.


   •   Understand client-specific business objectives, operational challenges, and investment strategies to offer tailored solutions.


2. Business Development:


   •   Identify new business opportunities within Indian oil majors to grow revenue.


   •   Develop account strategies aligned with client objectives and the company’s solutions portfolio.


   •   Collaborate with internal teams to create customized proposals and negotiate contracts that meet client expectations.


3. Industry Expertise and Strategic Insight:


   •   Stay informed on energy and chemical sector trends, including decarbonization, green hydrogen, renewable energy, and energy storage.


   •   Provide clients with strategic guidance on transitioning to low-carbon solutions and enhancing operational efficiency.


   •   Offer thought leadership to position the company as a trusted partner in India’s energy transformation journey.


4. Project Oversight and Collaboration:


   •   Ensure successful execution of client projects by coordinating with delivery teams and monitoring progress.


   •   Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.


   •   Promote innovation and technology adoption in energy systems, refining processes, and chemical manufacturing.


5. Stakeholder Engagement and Advocacy:


   •   Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance market presence.


   •   Advocate for client needs internally to drive continuous improvement in service delivery.


   •   Build partnerships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.


Qualifications and Skills:


Education and Experience:


   •   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, preferably – Chemical Engg.  Or Electrical or  a related field.


   •   15+ years of experience working in the energy or chemical sectors, with a focus on Oil majors.


   •   Demonstrated success in managing enterprise-level accounts, particularly Indian oil majors.


Skills and Competencies:


   •   In-depth knowledge of the Indian energy and chemical markets, including refining, petrochemicals, and renewable energy initiatives.


   •   Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills to engage senior stakeholders.


   •   Proven ability to influence and collaborate across complex organizational structures.


   •   Strategic mindset with expertise in energy transition and sustainability practices.


   •   Proficiency in CRM systems, project management tools, and business analytics.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


   •   Revenue growth and profitability from assigned Indian oil major accounts.


   •   Client satisfaction, measured through feedback and retention rates.


   •   Successful delivery of projects and solutions within agreed timelines.


   •   Achievement of cross-selling and upselling targets.


   •   Contribution to the company’s market visibility and thought leadership in the energy and chemical sectors.
