Responsible for the ongoing maintenance, security, and availability of NetApp Storage and HPE 3PAR SAN infrastructure based on business case needs
Responsible for complete Backup configuration and management including backups to Databases, data files, virtual machines and other types
Perform storage allocation, deallocation, decommissions and zoning management
Perform troubleshooting in the storage and backup files and backup points as and when issue occurs
Management and provisioning, advanced maintenance, data replication, disaster recovery, data migration and documentation for NetApp Storage, HPE 3PAR and Backup environments
High level of technical expertise to support complex NetApp Storage, HPE 3PAR & Backup devices, including SAN, NAS and Backup solutions across all tiers, under minimal supervision
Work independently, providing On-site/Offshore support for Infra/data center design, optimization or buildout
Establish target state requirements and architecture design for the Organization business need
Analyze gaps between current and target state operating capabilities for the Storage environment
Install Storage components and establish file space for servers and Applications
Provide high level consultation support on Storage and backup design and setup for Team members wherever required
Developing and implementing IT policies and best practicesSkill set
Hands on experience on preparation of Proof of concept for NetApp Storage and HPE 3PAR Storage / Backup services such as Veeam, IBM Tivoli, Commvault and others
5-6 Years in IT Infra including real-time experience in storage and backup administration and management
Good Knowledge on overall IT Infra including Datacenter Services
Good knowledge on Backup Services, Cloud Services and Application working model for Storage Services
Experience with managing Backup Tape library, tapes and DR services
Good understanding on ITSM ticketing process and hold knowledge on ITIL V4 concepts
Good Team management and communication skills
Very good written and spoken skills
Preferred NetApp or HPE 3PAR and Backup certificationsQualificationsBE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)Additional Information5 - 6 years of experience
