We are looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our Marketing team located in Bangalore, reporting to the Director of web & digital marketing. In this role, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development in a WordPress environment as well as projects that support Infoblox.com and its subdomains. Construct site layout/user interface from provided design concepts using PHP, HTML5, and CSS3 best practices
Maintain the existing site and applications, including maintenance and augmentation of website integration with our marketing automation tool and other third-party marketing automation applications
Design and manaeg the website back-end, including database and server integration
Code, build, and troubleshoot solutions compatible with the Marketo and CRM environments, including process optimization, database architectures and custom integrations
Collaborate with designers and product managers to create a seamless user experience
Optimize web applications for maximum performance speed and scalability
Conduct code reviews and optimization cycles
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure we’re using the best tools available
Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
Provide critical direction on new development projects, with respect to data integration with XML database and SQL database systems
What you’ll bring:
8+ years of technical experience working with web applications, web development, and enterprise applications
Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, as well as experience with back-end technologies, including Node.js, PHP, and Python and databases like MySQL and MongoDB
3 - 4 years of experience with a marketing automation system, preferably Marketo, and minimum 5 years of experience with the system development life cycle
Master’s degree in computer science or related field
Deep understanding and utilization of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML
Experience with headless CMS web development and with Adobe Suite
Solid background in software-as-a-service (SaaS), and expertise in tag manager tools and knowledge of SEO best practices
Individuals should be familiar with code debugging, testing, and optimization tools like Chrome and FireFox developer tools, Firebug, JSLint , W3C validation, etc. and be able to build out a design from a .psd with "pixel perfect" precision using standards-compliant HTML and CSS
Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing, an understanding of Modernizr and polyfills, and experience using Teamwork, Asana, Monday, Trello, or another project management software
Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools and advanced knowledge of Wordpress site application level and server-side optimization
Excellent verbal and written skills, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines

Actively contribute to at least two major projects, delivering high-quality code on time
Play a key role in the successful web launch of a significant feature or product launch
Demonstrate proficiency in the tech stack used by the team, such as front-end frameworks, back-end languages, or databases
Proactively suggest improvements to current systems and processes
After about a year, you will…
Deliver multiple successful projects on time and within scope, showcasing the ability to handle complex tasks independently
Lead architectural discussions and contribute to the strategic direction of web development initiatives
Introduce new tools, technologies, or processes to improve team efficiency or product quality
Foster strong working relationships with cross-functional teams, such as Design, Product Management, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on project goals
