Job Summary

Analyses business requirements/functional designs and collaborates with business teams, BSAs, and other engineers to design systems and application software, mentors junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis

• Reviews, analyzes, and provides feedback on requirements/functional designs.

  
  

Design of Technical Solutions

• Designs technical solutions for software and system development.

  
  

• Build, test and support SIT/UAT cycles

  
  

Software/Application Architecture

• Participates in architectural review processes.

  
  

Software Design

• Designs for larger enhancements and projects.

  
  

• Conducts peer design reviews.

  
  

Development/Coding

• Develops and maintains code for larger enhancements, projects, and integrations.

  
  

• Fixes defects and participates in/conducts peer code reviews.

  
  

• Follows design and coding standards and processes.

  
  

• Conducts code performance analysis and tuning.

  
  

Application QA

• Develops unit and cross-functional tests, devises test strategies, executes test cases, logs issues, manages issues, recommends testing frameworks, and records and runs automated test scripts.

  
  

DevOps

• Defines deployment and release guidelines.

  
  

• Defines and executes environment planning and cross-functional dependencies.

  
  

• Documents software configuration management practices and educates cross-functional stakeholders on processes and tools.

  
  

Software Reliability & Support Engineering

• Captures, consolidates, and maintains an inventory of production applications, flows, and systems for all software engineering verticals.

  
  

• Assists in preparing application support documentation.

  
  

• Troubleshoots basic application issues using knowledge-base documents.

  
  

Reporting

• Provides status reports and updates on release management progress.

  
  

Technical Project Management

• Provides level of effort (LOE).

  
  

• Manages assigned development tasks according to schedule/plan.

  
  

Qualifications

• 7 to 10 years of experience.

  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.

  
  

• Expertise in Oracle Cloud Fusion - OIC with multiple implementation experiences.

  
  

• Hands-on experience in BIP, OTBI report building and customization.

  
  

• Experience in VBCS build and customization.

  
  

• Knowledge of Fusion SaaS Page customization and personalization.

  
  

• Functional knowledge in Finance modules, specifically AP, Expense, AR.

  
  

• Effective communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
