Job Description
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience: 7+ Years
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience with the Salesforce platform
- Implementation experience of at least 2-4 Salesforce projects
- Proficiency in Salesforce tools like Salesforce DX, Visual Studio Code, and deployment tools (e.g., Jenkins, Gearset)
- Development and configuration of Salesforce functionalities
- Designing custom objects
- Custom fields and picklists
- Page layouts
- Workflow and process builder
- Approval processes
- Security features implementation
- Validation rules
- Custom tabs
- Reports and dashboards
- Process flow and email generation according to application requirements
- Working on Apex, Visual Force, Lightning, and Force.com
- Development of Lightning web components
- Integrating Salesforce with other systems using SOAP and REST API
- Exposure to working on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Knowledge of Service and Community Cloud
- Understanding of best practices and SFDC coding standards
- Good experience in integrating Salesforce with other systems (ERPs, legacy systems, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good to have skills/certifications:
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II
- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
- Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Cloud Consultant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Understanding the client鈥檚 business use cases and technical requirements and be able to convert them into technical design which elegantly meets the requirements.
- Mapping decisions with requirements and be able to translate the same to developers.
- Identifying different solutions and being able to narrow down the best option that meets the client鈥檚 requirements.
- Defining guidelines and benchmarks for NFR considerations during project implementation
- Writing and reviewing design document explaining overall architecture, framework, and high-level design of the application for the developers
- Reviewing architecture and design on various aspects like extensibility, scalability, security, design patterns, user experience, NFRs, etc., and ensure that all relevant best practices are followed.
- Developing and designing the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements; and defining technologies, patterns, and frameworks to materialize it
- Understanding and relating technology integration scenarios and applying these learnings in projects
- Resolving issues that are raised during code/review, through exhaustive systematic analysis of the root cause, and being able to justify the decision taken.
- Carrying out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor鈥檚 or master鈥檚 degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
