JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity:The Credit Controller is responsible for chasing outstanding invoices to the US and Canadian Commvault companies and as such they have a vital role in the cash flow of the organisation ensuring credit given to customers is supervised and controlled efficiently.Reporting to the Credit Control Team Leader, this is a hybrid role, part remote and part in-office. Where you will be expected to work Monday through Friday total hours of nine hours, with some overtime at lively periods such as quarter ends.What you'll be doing:

• Handling inquiries and resolving issues for a ledger spanning the US and Canada while delivering outstanding customer support.
• Ensuring timely collections and maintaining a low Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) by effectively engaging with customers via email, phone, and online portals.
• Performing daily cash allocations using NetSuite and effectively handling journal entries to facilitate payment transfers between entities and record withholding tax.
• Conducting credit checks, establishing new customer accounts, and reviewing credit limits and payment terms for both new and existing customers.
• Preparing month-end reports and reconciling the accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate financial records.

Who you are ?

• At least 1 year of experience in Credit Control.
• Demonstrated sound decision-making abilities and an organized, methodical approach.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a thoughtful and considerate manner.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
• Preferably educated to degree level or equivalent.
• Proficient negotiation skills and the ability to articulate financial matters clearly and confidently.
• Experience handling multi-currency transactions.
• Familiarity with the NetSuite accounts system.
