Job DescriptionAgilent IT’s SAP Solutions and Digital Integration (SSDI) team seeks an experienced customer identity and access management technical lead familiar with the latest web application authentication and access management processes and technologies. In this position, you will integrate new applications with Agilent’s IAM solution, OKTA. You will work with other technical leads, OKTA product company, and vendor experts to enhance and configure new IAM capabilities. You will follow and optimize established integration and identity best practice principles and standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact and help shape Agilent’s digital identity solutions.
Key Accountabilities:
- Work with product managers and on-site and offshore development teams to integrate, design, develop, test, and implement Agilent’s current identity manager technology expansion using an iterative and agile development methodology.
- Work closely with other teams to configure and integrate applications to use a single identity and access solution.
- Research and adopt new SSO and CIAM technologies.
- Write and review technical designs.
- Project estimation of design (using Agile methodology), prototyping, and release to production support
- Work closely with the delivery manager and back-end teams to architect and integrate with OKTA solution.
- Work with various technology platform vendors to understand new offerings and mitigate ongoing issues.
- Review requirements and design specifications and ensure they meet Agilent security standards to be forward-looking.
- Design and develop access management policies and workflows.
- Stay current with security requirements and identify and implement sound security controls for applications, systems, and processes.
- Manage CIAM solution deployments through the development lifecycle, including analysis of solution requirements, solution design, architecture, and supporting business processes, configuring and customizing existing and new solutions, and testing (unit, system integration, performance, and UAT testing).
- You will also own Support of solutions implemented and will be responsible for setting up the DevOps model as well as approach to continuous development and improvement within your track, including covering the Agilent B2B platform utilizing OpenText.
Qualifications- Understanding of technologies such as Azure AD, NGINX, IDaaS, SAML, Single Sign-on (SSO), OAuth, OIDC, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) (including in Okta). PKCE knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to rapidly iterate through prototypes of CIAM new capabilities/features ex: Okta Identity Engine
- Have existing knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Angular, and NodeJS programming
- Experience with AWS, API Gateway, Federation, IDP-SP, and SSO flow concepts.
- Working experience with AWS development pipeline and GitHub
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education / Experience:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, or equivalent, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in IT.
- 4+ years of experience with customer identity access management (CIAM) applications – i.e. Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, etc.
- Having Okta administration, development certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Prefer Prior development experience with CIAM technologies is desirable.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed when needed
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills to build/ maintain ongoing business relationships.
