SRE Platform Engineering Specialist - 24/7 Rotational Shifts

About the team 

This team manage SaaS payment environment. Perform support activities required to maintain a high level of availability and stability for one or more applications including incident/problem analysis and resolution, change deployment and certification, application performance, application operations management and development support.

What you will be doing 

• Work with architecture team to identify and implement the most optimum cloud-based solutions for the FIS’s Prophet platform
• Develop and implement technical efforts to build, and deploy FIS applications at the direction of architecture team. Participate in all aspects of the environment build including planning, requirements, deployment, testing, and quality assurance
• Define and document best practices and strategies regarding application deployment and infrastructure maintenance. Work with the internal and external facing teams to ensure smooth client onboarding for the platform
• Own and ensure delivery of the projects e.g. MFA implementations and upgrades. Asses and report risks and issues to ensure best client delivery  
• Establish and use monitoring tools to manage and address build environment issues in a proactive and timely manner. Function as a primary / backup on a rotational basis for weekend on call and maintenance tasks

What you bring:

• 10 to 12 years of Extensive experience on implementing cloud application solutions in multitenant enterprise environments or dedicated environments
• Expertise on Citrix Xenapp 7.x,Windows Server Administration and PowerShell scripting
• Expertise in build and administration of public cloud AWS and Azure
• Skilled in DevOps CI/CD tools like Jenkins and Ansible. Terraform to manage the cloud services
• Extensive Experience in several of the following areas: cloud, networking, scripting, database architecture, ETL
• Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of Operations, Client Services, Professional Services, Development and  Architecture tools.

• ITIL v3 Foundation or higher desirable
• Citrix Certified Associate
• AWS Certified – Associate Level
• Azure Certified Administrator Associate
• HashiCorp Infrastructure Automation Certification
