The RoleAspen Technology, Inc. (AspenTech) is seeking a Sr. Workday Analyst to join our Business Applications team. Reporting directly to the Sr Principal Workday Analyst, Business Applications, this position will be responsible for supporting daily operations on the Workday Platform and act as the liaison between the technical support of Workday and the business use of the system.
This role will be based in Bangalore, India, and work in close collaboration with all IT functions as well as other business functions across AspenTech.
Your Impact- Daily activities include managing integrations, HR onboarding processes, security administration and Workday Support processes.
- Analyze business processes and develop new and enhanced workflows within Workday, including but not limited to: Core HCM, Benefits, Time Off, and Time Tracking.
- Configure security and set security roles/groups.
- Develop integrations through EIBs, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio.
- Create business process configuration from ground-up and reconfigurations when required.
- Translation of business needs into actionable technical projects, with Workday’s best practices through process improvement, review, and recommendation.
- Work closely with various departments to ensure the system aligns with internal goals and gather requirements.
- Guide business leaders through process improvements and systems upgrades.
- Collaborate with various levels of IT and Business teams and lead the project delivery team by providing technical/domain guidance.
- Working effectively in a distributed global team environment across US, India, and other global regions.
- Engage with leadership and diversified customer groups to understand the needs and recommend solutions.
What You'll Need
- 4+ years in a related role in addition to a bachelor’s degree in information systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of Workday experience within Core HCM, Time Tracking, Benefits (Any experience in Payroll, Advanced Compensation, Core Compensation, and Performance would be a plus).
- Business process configuration, Security administration and maintenance.
- Creation of Advanced reports, and complex calculated fields.
- Creation of integrations/troubleshooting, Studio experience, and creation of EIBs.
- Support SOX and audit compliance processes and reporting with audit teams.
- Solid business acumen, critical problem-solving ability, with a capacity for strategic thinking.
- Comfort level with ambiguity and ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer relationship skills.
- Willingness to learn and experiment with technologies outside of his/her comfort area in an agile environment and think of new ways to help make our data platform more scalable, resilient, and reliable and then work across our team to put your ideas into action.
