Roche Information Solutions (RIS) provides integrated digital solutions to deliver on the promise of affordable, high quality, and accessible healthcare. RIS is accountable for the development and delivery of digital solutions, common Diagnostics architecture and data management. Digitalization in healthcare is of increasing importance to deliver customer and patient value, and shape healthcare.
Digital Development Services (DDS) is part of RIS division of Roche, which provides digital product for various diagnostic workflow and services. We are part of RIS and work on digitization of pathology workflow in pathology lab operation to improve accuracy, efficiency and turnaround time for pathologist. We provide on premise and cloud deployed end-to-end digital workflow solutions to pathology labs across the globe.
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Software UI Automation Test Engineer who has affinity to research and come up with innovative solutions to the real world problems encountered during software development and test cycles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed automation test strategy to drive decisions about test automation goal
- Creation of Master Test plan and work with QA Manager on Test Strategy for all projects, determining scope, schedule and sequence of test activities
- Implement and maintain an end-to-end automation test framework for developing and running UI integration tests and create quality dashboards using various tools like Java, Python, TypeScript, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver
- Participate in code reviews and give genuine feedback
- Manage the framework / scripts in the GitHub source code management system and run through the Jenkins Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment tool
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and validate SW test methods and tools required for automation
- Assess the execution results and generate the execution reports and dashboards
- Use Jira as defect management system
- Follow a scaled agile software development process
Skills:
- Ability to manage multiple projects with changing priorities
- An affinity for problem solving, and the ability to understand complex relationships between product functionality and requirements
- Proficiency in different software languages and operating systems environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience with developing test automation framework in Playwright, Selenium WebDriver
- Experience with Java or Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Page Object Model, MySQL, Postgres
- Experience working in an Agile development organization and JIRA
- Knowledge Github, Intellij or Eclipse
- Basic knowledge of microservice architecture, AWS services, Docker, CI/CD, Linux, Shell scripting
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with testing bioinformatics software is a plus
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, mathematics, or engineering
