We are currently hiring a Sr Technician, Field Svc to join our Information Management Services division (formerly known as ARINC) based in New Delhi, India (International Airport).


Duties include, but not limited to the following:


  • Provide support to the onsite team involve in providing First level support
  • Handle calls escalated by Level 1 support and make sure to involve next level support (if required) to minimize the impact.
  • Ensure all the SLAs targets are met.
  • The candidate must ensure all deliverables are delivered on predefined frequency to customer
  • Organize regular training sessions for Customer’s level 1 support staff and provide training to them in predefined frequency.
  • Regular meeting with Customer and ensure that all the feedbacks are recorded, and corrective/preventive measure are kept in place (if required)
  • Keeping track of necessary documentation and records and make sure that they are updated on scheduled frequency.
  • Candidate will be SPOC for any scheduled/emergency maintenance activity scheduled by customer which may impact our systems.
  • Keeping track of the new released security patches/hot fixes of relevant application OEMs and implementing at site by following proper change management procedure.
  • Coordination with network, ISP and other vendors in case of failure due to unavailability of their services impacting system performance.
  • Monitoring the overall performance of systems and highlight if there is/are indicators impacting system performance.
  • Performing core server health checks, database health checks and take corrective action in case of any observation.
  • Monitoring automated backup/restore process and take corrective actions in case of any observation.
  • Requirements:


  • Minimum five year experience in Aviation IT support  or six year experience in IT industry
  • 3 year Diploma in Engineering or 4 year Full time B. Tech or Bachelor in Computer Application or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with airline/airport operations, terminology and culture is preferred
  • Experience supporting various hardware and peripheral components in an on-site environment
  • Minimum 3-year experience of working directly in a customer service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills are essential
  • Strong work ethic, result oriented as well as excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Candidates having MCSE / CCNA certification will be preferred
  • Candidate must have good hands on experience on Windows 2019 servers, vMware, Linux (basics)
  • Candidate should be having understanding of SQL and Oracle databases.
  • Experience In VMware Implementation and Administration
  • Experience In Windows Server Patch Management
  • Experience in Networking Technologies Switching / Routing / Firewall
