Within our Human Health Digital, Data & Analytics organization we are transforming to better power decision-making across our end-to-end commercialization process, from business development to late lifecycle management. As we endeavor, we are seeking a dynamic talent to serve in the role of Senior Specialist - Data Science.
We are seeking candidates with prior experience in the healthcare analytics or consulting sectors, prior hands-on experience in Data Science (building end-to-end ML models) and has hands on experience on building Gen AI based applications and systems.
You will be part of a dynamic team that collaborates with our partners across therapeutic areas. Furthermore, effective communication skills are crucial, as this role requires interfacing with executive and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Execution:
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resource allocation, and milestones.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to address challenges and risks.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, keeping them informed of project status, changes, and deliverables.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and senior management.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate and utilize resources efficiently, ensuring that the project team has the necessary tools, data, and support to achieve project goals.
- Identify and resolve resource constraints or conflicts as they arise.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and update risk management plans accordingly.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and align with project requirements.
- Implement best practices for project management and data science processes.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports, budget tracking, and milestone achievements.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, plans, and lessons learned.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years industry experience
- Experience in healthcare analytics or consulting sectors
- Experience in leading small – mid-sized teams
- Proficiency in Product / Portfolio management, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello) and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in STEM (MS, MBA)
- Experience in Oncology/Vaccine/Pharma & Rare Diseases therapeutic area commercial analytics
- Experience in Healthcare Analytics and Patient Level Data analytics (e.g., creating Patient Cohorts, knowledge of Lines of Therapy, Persistency, Compliance, etc.)
- Knowledge of statistics, data science and machine learning & commercial
- Experience of supporting End to End Project Management
