What role will you play as a member of the Colgate’s Information Technology team? 


The Pricing and Promotion studies are part of the Global RGM initiative for Colgate Palmolive 


To support Global Revenue Management via analytical based recommendations that are translated into business results. Person will have to support functions across the organization to drive growth through innovative solutions. Good experience in applying a variety of data mining methods, statistical models and tools. Must be diligent, problem solver, collaborative and proactive to partner needs. Also, need to be an excellent partner independently to drive projects such as Price Promotion, Marketing Mix and Forecasting


Who are you…

You lead a hardworking team and expert 


  • To support Standard Report Delivery as per agreed SLAs and respond to ad hoc requests for reporting and first level analysis.


  • Supports market data harmonization process set up and business as usual across all CP countries and categories, working with external strategic partners as appropriate.


  • Establish and setup market data validation and Quality  processes and tools and investigate Root causes.


  • Assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs


  • Automate processes and solutions 


You connect the dots -


  • Setup, handle and automate product master data sets as per standards and governance rules


  • Assist with organizational change needs (e.g., training, communications, etc.) as part of roll-out and ongoing support of market data reporting tools and processes.


  • Assemble large, sophisticated data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements


  • Build data tools for Business analytics to assist them in decision making


You are a collaborator - 


  • Work closely with CBS Analytics Division/Global Analytics team


  • Work with data and analytics specialists across functions to drive data solutions


You are an innovator - 


  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc


  • Build and maintain efficient data pipeline architecture in cloud environment


What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Information Systems or another quantitative field a plus


  • At least 05 years of professional experience working in Information Technology or Data Engineering developing a team delivering Data transformation and ETL projects


  • Experience with Data Flow, Data Pipeline and workflow management tools in cloud environments (GCP, AWS etc.)


  • Proficiency of data visualization techniques & tools - Experience with dashboarding tools (Google Data Studio, Tableau, DOMO, Sigma etc.) 


  • Good knowledge of Excel / Google Sheet (i.e., standard functions – aggregation, pivots, look ups, etc.)


  • SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.


  • Hands-on experience with R/ Python specially on Data Manipulation


  • Experience performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business questions and find opportunities for improvement


  • Experience supporting and working with multi-functional teams in a dynamic environment


  • Ability to prioritize multiple work assignments and meet timelines


What you’ll need…(Preferred)
  • Experience with third-party data i.e., syndicated market data, Point of Sales, etc.


  • Experience with third-party syndicated data (Nielsen, Kantar) , Point of Sales, etc.


  • Solid grasp of consumer packaged goods industry


  • Understanding of Colgate’s processes, and tools supporting analytics (for internal candidates)


  • Willingness and ability to experiment with new tools and techniques


  • Good facilitation and project management skills


  • Strong affinity to work with the business teams


  • Working knowledge of consumer packaged goods industry
