Job Description:
This position is for Sr Software Engineer for Liquidity Domain in Corebanking, primary responsibility will be towards the development, integration, and support of Investment applications, you will be part of the team, which is responsible for all software aspects including research, design, technology insertion, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. The role will be focusing on developing and integrating the solutions working closely with partner resources and team members based in the US
Core responsibilities include:
- Hands-on development and contribution towards the delivery of the projects
- Working closely and collaborate with onsite/offsite Tech Managers and developers in design and delivery of solutions.
- Follow FCB delivery methodology (Agile / Iterative) for the delivery of the solutions
- Complete ownership of the Development deliverable for the applications involved in the portfolio right from Design, Dev, Automated Unit Testing
- Collaborate and contribute to the architectural roadmaps and adhere to the enterprise architecture guidelines
- Compliance to all FCB standards, policies, and procedures
Qualifications:
- Hands-on Experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular, ASP.NET MVC, API/Microservices, Restful Webservices, web applications, JSM, transactional databases like SQL, Oracle, NoSQL databases
- Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other related engineering discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience with systems implementations and/or system enhancements
- 3-5 years of experience working in information technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry.
- Specialized knowledge of core banking, payment processing systems, gateways and associated regulatory rules is highly desired.
- Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or trade-offs. Identifies cost/benefit implications of proposed solutions (e.g. people, processes, technology, strategy, finance).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Technology and system related analysis using knowledge of current applications, interfaces and data structures to recommend solutions and provide input.
- Facilitate and participant in design white-boarding sessions to ensure prioritized business needs are met within FCB standards.
- Provide leadership and support for system production issues, change requests and maintenance.
- Maintain knowledge documentation.
- Able to manage and direct, with authority, remote team members to quickly resolve business critical production incidents successfully.
- Prepare and present subject matter knowledge, analysis, options, solutions in both written and presentations to internal and external audiences.
- Ability to execute and prioritize a number of tasks, initiate and conduct meetings with team and peers.
- Experience with CI/CD delivery model
- Experience in working with COTS/On-Premises, as well as SaaS solutions
- Decent Knowledge /Experience working in Agile Environment
- Must have cloud implementation
- Experience with ITIL is preferred
- Good understanding of developing medium to complex SQL queries
- Experience with MSSQL, Oracle and/or SQL databases (with focus on application development and not as a DBA)
- Experience in migrating lower version .net applications to latest version
- Must have cloud implementation
- Willingness and right attitude towards learning other platforms
- Good Communication, level of energy, positive attitude, and ability to learn quickly
