Job Description:

As a Software Engineer, primary responsibility will be towards the development, integration, review, and support of Corebanking Product. The engineer will be part of the team, which is responsible for all software aspects including research, design, technology insertion, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment. The role will be focusing on developing and integrating the solutions working closely with partner resources and team members.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or related discipline or equivalent work experience
•    8+ years of relevant work experience with systems implementations/development
•    3-5 years of experience working in information technology domain within Banking or Financial Services industry.  
•    Excellent coding skills on Java programming and RDBMS.
•    Performs impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture, capabilities, system priorities, and technology solutions; looks for additional solution options or trade-offs. Identifies cost/benefit implications of proposed solutions (e.g. people, processes, technology, strategy, finance)
•    Implementation experience of best practices applicable to J2EE. 
•    Prior development experience on Flexcube/LoanIQ extensible layer is preferred. 
•    Must be able to follow development processes required for efficient, effective and repeatable implementations. 
•    Demonstrated ability in analytical thinking and problem solving.
•    Strong passion towards building tools and systems that enable engineers to push code quickly and safely
•    Excellent communication skills, take initiative attitude and very collaborative
•    Ability to pick up new technologies quickly and find the right tool for the job 
•    Technology and system related analysis using knowledge of current applications, interfaces and data structures to recommend solutions and provide input.
•    Facilitate and participant in design white-boarding sessions to ensure prioritized business needs are met within SVB standards.
•    Provide leadership and support for system production issues, change requests and maintenance.
•    Prepare and present subject matter knowledge, analysis, options, solutions in both written and presentations to internal and external audiences.
•    Ability to execute and prioritize a number of tasks, initiate and conduct meetings with team and peers.
•    Experience with CI/CD delivery model
•    Experience working in Agile Environment
•    Experience with ITIL is preferred
