Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Salesforce Platform Manager to join our dynamic team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the management, development, integration, and deployment of our Salesforce platform, focusing primarily on the Sales Cloud. This role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders, including sales leaders and teams, to ensure the seamless execution of Salesforce projects and to reduce dependency on vendor teams by building robust in-house capabilities.


Key Responsibilities

Platform Management & Development:


  • Lead the development, customization, and integration efforts of the Salesforce platform.
  • Oversee the implementation of new Salesforce features and modules in collaboration with the extended vendor team.
  • Ensure best practices in Salesforce development and integration with peripheral tools like Outlook and others.

Stakeholder Management:


  • Act as the primary liaison between the Salesforce development team, sales leaders, and sales teams.
  • Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.

Vendor Coordination:


  • Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure successful integration and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
  • Coordinate with vendor teams for continuous development, troubleshooting, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.

Quality Assurance:


  • Ensure rigorous testing of Salesforce modules and integrations before deployment.
  • Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in Salesforce operations.
Qualifications and Skills

Educational Background:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 institution.

Experience:


  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Salesforce platform management, including hands-on development.
  • Proven experience in leading teams within a Salesforce environment.
  • Strong experience in developing custom Salesforce solutions and integrating with third-party systems.

Technical Skills:


  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and Salesforce APIs.
  • Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and integration with third-party systems.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:


  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.

Certifications:


  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator.
